The disaster struck again in one of the regions in Indonesia. Recently there has been a major disaster in the form of an earthquake with a power of 7 on the Richter scale that rocked Lombok. Panic immediately hit residents of Lombok who immediately fled to the highlands because there was information on potential tsunami warnings.

The earthquake measuring 7 on the Richter scale that shook North Lombok occurred at 18.46 Central Indonesia Time. The location of the epicenter is estimated to be at a distance of 18 km northwest of east Lombok and has a depth of 15 kilometers. The magnitude of the earthquake scale, news of the tsunami coupled with a totally dead electricity suddenly made people panic and chose to flee.

However, in order to allay the panic, BMKG residents revoked the tsunami warning one hour later. This high-scale earthquake also caused sea water to rise in several areas. Among these are at the ports of Carik North Lombok, Bada Sumbawa and sheets of West Lombok. Meanwhile, aftershocks continued until this news was delivered.
